Been having crappy work outs due to fighting every illness under the sun. So excited to see my progress from now from 3 years ago when I first got into lifting (I think it’s called #transformationTuesday right?! Lol). I feel like you can learn a lot about someone based on how they tackle their to-do lists (assuming they even make one 🤭!). .
I’m someone who writes every. single. item. down. ESPECIALLY the super small, seemingly insignificant things.. mainly just for the joy I get from being able to cross it off when it takes 2 seconds to do ✅
When it comes to tackling time-consuming, harder tasks versus those quick and easy ones.. I will always prioritize the quick wins.
Being able to knock off 5 smaller things over 1 larger item just makes me feel extra productive and accomplished. 🥳
This is exactly how I am in the gym too. Instead of starting the week off with the focus area I need the most development in (*cough* legs) I gravitate towards my strongest (and “easiest”) circuits to pump myself up for the rest of the week. 💪🏽
I know that I’ll have to face those tough leg days soon enough - just like those big to-do items that have been pushed down the list.. But for Monday and Tuesday, I’ll be that one person doing shoulders and biceps.
What about you? Do you prefer to knock those hard tasks out sooner rather than later or keep them on the schedule for when you’ve psyched yourself up?

Like these last couple of days I’ve made it a excuse I can’t make porridge coz my puppy need to be dealt with but I can’t neglect my body again , I won’t, my puppy will have to cry she needs to get use to me leaving her sometimes even if I’m just next door in the room most of the day I spend with her right now! lunch was an unpictured tuna sandwich on wholemeal bread followed by a belvita duo crunch 🍓
had a small recovery win at lunch today!! usually I pick all the tuna out of my sandwich as I’m eating it, and then my mum will make me eat all the bits that have fallen out with a fork afterwards 🙊 so today I decided to challenge that stupid habit! it’s not like doing it meant I had to have less calories as my mum still made sure I ate it all in the end- all I was doing was making it harder and more painful for myself. today I ate all of the tuna actually in the sandwich and I’m so glad I did! it’s only a small thing but it helped a lot at lunch as it meant I finished quite a bit quicker, and I didn’t have to eat forkfuls of only tuna at the end (which, to be honest, is gross). got a challenge later for supper!! will post it once I’ve done it x

Being serious now - I have less cellulite when I lose fat - LESS, not none. I’m a little heavier than I was at my comp and have noticed more cellulite appearing. More prominent in certain positions, when I walk or slouch.. comparatively I can pose and make it disappear. A wee reminder not to compare yourself to everything you see on the internet - posing, angles, lighting, filters and apps ruin perception 🧨. 🌿✨ INSECURITIES✨ We all have them! Although my skinny arms is an insecurity of mine, I’m posting it on here because I want to document my progress! ✨🌿
✨ Yes, yes, yes and yesss I don’t have the strongest arms or back and I never have had! But your girl is working on it! I’ve always had weak arms and that’s only down to myself not being bothered to train them as hard as I do for my lower body! ✨ I do train my upper body, twice a week in fact! But for any grossly noticeable muscle growth it’s important to be progressively overloading the muscle group over a period of time! ✨This means I need to be doing more compound upper body exercises, e.g. bench press, as appose to accessory movements which I tend to fill my upper body workouts with! ✨It’s quite easy for me just to stick to the same weight, but that won’t lead to results! ✨ It’s not the end of 2018 yet but I already want to set a goal for 2019 to grow my arms as currently you could probably snap them in half like chopsticks 🥢💁🏻♀️✨Swipe for today’s upper body workout 💪🏼✨

Meine Geschichte in Bildern. Kurzgefasst. Links mit Sport - vor allem Cardio. Das Essen war planlos. Unglücklich mit mir selbst. Ich wollte etwas ändern. In der Mitte ein komplettes Extrem. Training jeden Tag, jeden Tag Cardio, jedes Gramm Essen abgewogen. Und todunglücklich im Inneren. Ein Stück Schoki? In der Mitte ging das gar nicht. Ich habe mir alles verboten und mein komplettes Leben auf den Sport ausgelegt. Alles musste aufgeschrieben werden. Alles "kontrolliert" werden. Zurückblickend ehrlicherweise eine Sucht die mein Leben kontrolliert hat. Denn das hatte nichts mehr mit gesund zu tun. Rechts war gerade gestern: Sport ist Teil meines Lebens. Kraft und Ausdauer! Aber nicht mehr jeden Tag. Das Essen? Intuitiv. Ich esse gesund, aber kann mir mittlerweile ohne ein schlechtes Gewissen auch gönnen. Ich bin unendlich dankbar aus dem Extrem raus zu sein. Denn Druck hat man im Alltag zB durch meinen Job genug. Und sich zusätzlich selbst noch mehr unter Druck zu setzen, macht auf die Dauer die Seele krank. Und glücklich wird man durch einen Sixpack nicht, wenn der Rest im Leben nicht stimmt. 💗
