Oggi allenamento faticosissimo 10x250 mt in salita , si continua a mettere forza nel motore e non si molla mai!
Today fatiguing training 10x250 mt in slope. I continue to put strenght in the motor and never give up

...smooth is fast."
This is our mantra here at BBRC.
It's a reminder to stop rushing.
Slow down. Pay attention. Be conscious of what you're doing.
Slow enables you to be SMOOTH.
And smooth is the precursor to fast. The kind of speed that lasts.
Slow may not feel as badass as sprinting down the street trying to shave 1.6142 seconds off your PB.
But what's badass about being injured every other month?
In the long term slow and smooth are better.
This is how we approach EVERYTHING at BBRC.
We spent months getting our t-shirts right.
We could have rushed it and made crap. But that's not us.
The same when we run.
It's worth putting the brakes on, even just a little, to ensure you can run as many injury free miles as possible.
That way, when you need to step on the gas, you have the energy and the discipline to do it properly.
So, do yourself a favour...
Slow down. Your body (and life) will thank you for it.
Life never gets in the way of running, running gets in the way of life...
Had a forced break from any form of exercise these past 6 days, and it’ll continue for a further few days, and I couldn’t give one tiny little fuck about it 😁
My little girl wasn’t well and rushed to hospital where she stayed for 6 days and nights with all the tests available given to her, whilst a worried mammy and daddy stayed with her 24/7.
She’s home now with medication for a further 2 years which hopefully she will grow out of in time 🤗
My Manchester marathon training started at the beginning of this month, was I bothered that I couldn’t run? Hell no. Family always first, and I’d never say that family (life) gets in the way of my running - if I can’t run because my child needs my attention then so be it, children win every time 👊🏼
So what did I do with my hours and hours of spare time watching over my girl in hospital? I saw a lot of your insta stories, I’m seeing more and more of you turn into advertising for brands, I saw people moaning about mundane things when life could be a lot worse - look at my life the past 6 days, I received a lot of well wishes which surprised me on how many spared a thought for Lizzie, i ate loads of crap food and hardly any good stuff, I drank a gazillion cups of coffee, I cried a little, and....... I started a blog 😂
I’ve missed running, I’ll be about 3 weeks behind schedule when I start, but it’s not the end of the world but I’ve missed not having Lizzie home more 💕
