"Beyond the very extreme of fatigue and distress,
We find amounts of ease and power we never dreamed ourselves to own,
Sources of strength never taxed at all because we never push through the obstruction."
Born to Run
Remembering this race.
No running watch.
No dry fabric clothes.
A heart that loved to run.
A mind that believed.
And a spirit that connected
With purpose, destiny, & meaning
Congratulations to everyone who ran #dallas this past weekend! I hope y’all had a great time, whether you were chasing a PR, taking in the #Dallas views or using the race as a training run for your goal race! 🏅 🏃🏾♂️🏃🏻♀️
Here is a sneak peek at how I make my runDallas medal holder. I love woodburning the #dallasskyline almost as much as I love running it. 😁
And you still have time to place your order for a custom-made race medal holder with me before Christmas! I will continue taking orders this week, so check out my Etsy shop (link in profile 👆🏻) and order yours before Saturday, December 15th! 🎁🎄
(Pssst.. check out all the 10% - 20% off sales I have going on while you’re there. 😉)
Woohoo! This #medalmonday I couldn’t be more proud of! I got a PR on 3 distances during the #mississippigulfcoastmarathon yesterday! 26.2, 13.1 and 10k! What?! That’s insane! I worked hard for every mile and can’t stop smiling for how it went! I am so excited to see what this body can do for the Louisiana Marathon in 6 weeks!🙌🏻
We did it! 26.2 ✅ (.4 according to garmin...)
So proud of my love @chestylee on completing his first marathon! .
My fav part of the race was when I saw Chester on the long out and back section and at the EXACT same time we both yelled “THATS MY HUSBAND/WIFE!!” 😂😂
He promised me years ago that he’d run a marathon with me so now that’s out of the way he says “never again”. but we’ll see.. now it sucks because usually he waits on me after big races when my legs are pooped. But now I actually have to take care of myself 🙄 lame.
