30 minute hip hop ride. Me going in: “just go easy, you’ve gotta run fartleks after.” @alextoussaint25 “this is gonna burn, let’s see 200-250 output” Me: ok. Fast forward to the gym. 1 mile easy, then fartlek ladders. My quads/glutes: “WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO US”. I’m foam rolling hard core this afternoon. Go get it! #onepeloton#londonmarathon2019#trainhard#noexcuses
Your running gait can change over time so it’s worth getting a regular gait analysis to ensure you’re running in the correct pair of running trainers to reduce your risk of injury. Our gait analysis service is free in store from one of our trained sales team with no need to book in advance! See you soon! 👋🏼

I think I’ve found a home for the #didgeridoo - yey 🥳
Whilst trying to play it I realised it had a split in the wood so have filled the split, cleaned, sanded and repolished the wood ready for its new home - looking and sounding much better now 👍
#homemade wood polish
Olive oil + white vinegar + lemon juice worked a treat!!
Having a cut back week after a solid 3 weeks of training but included a mid week marathon pace session, 1 mile warmup, 10k aiming for 5:50 to 5:55 minute pace, quite an undulating route so splits not too consistent but average pace for the 10k came in at 5:53 pace for 36:37 which gives marathon time of 2:34:15, felt relaxed and comfortable throughout. More than happy with that with 13 weeks to go 🏃🏻💪😊
This was Monday nights sweaty run where apparently I lost my neck on the run as well...🤔 Have been building up my running for the London Marathon again since tearing a tendon in my ankle last September and then developing the Christmas winter bird flu 🤧 but felt so good to be back out with my fav 💞. This post is also a plea to ask anyone who can spare a penny or two to donate to justgiving.com/fundraising/eleanor-daly1. Anything would mean the world to me and goes to an amazing mental health charity which a lot of you know is very close to mine and my families hearts @mindcharity . Now I’m off on another run... 💞🏃🏼♀️💞🏃🏼♀️ #mindcharity#mentalhealthawareness#londonmarathon2019#runningformentalhealth
So my daughter @jemma_syms is gearing up for the London Marathon and is running for Clic Sargent which is the children’s cancer charity that she works for . See below if you like the idea of having a name on her shirt . #Repost@jemma_syms with @get_repost
With the long awaited January payday soon approaching I thought what better time to kick start my London Marathon fundraising.
Every mile of my marathon journey will be dedicated to the name and memory of a loved one known as “memory miles”. The chosen number and loved ones name will be printed on the running vest I wear on Marathon Day
There are 26.2 miles in the Marathon so 26 loved ones can be remembered this way. If you would like to have a mile dedicated there is a minimum donation of £20 to my sponsorship page. Then either leave a message stating the mile number of your choice on the page or message me directly.
Thank you in advance for your support🙏

P.s Thank you to everyone that has already donated. If you would like a mile dedicated please message me with your selected number x #charity#londonmarathon2019#giving#cancer#children
It was -6 degrees in Blackpool last night which means the roads and even the grass is quite treacherous. Still... a teeny tiny shuffle run done and (despite hitting the deck a few times) luckily, there’re no broken bones. Result 👍🏻 #londonmarathon#vlm2019#londonmarathon2019#icy 🥶🏃♀️🥶
Buon Training By RunningZen
Black coffee in my new favourite mug (which might seem a bit lame as I designed it but oh I love it) Small steps lead to great things.
No running again for me today. I have, what I'm sure is the technical term, a poorly glute. It started two weeks ago after I crushed a very epic lower body session and just couldn't seem to shake the glute doms. Glutes felt tired when running for that week but not bad necessarily. It's only now I decided to have a shorter mileage week this week that it's really become, so to speak, a pain in the arse. Resting always seem to bring out the weirdness in my body, the soreness, the tightness, the 'oh ffs-ness'. I had planned on running tomorrow but now I'm not so sure. What if my leg just drops clean off..anything could happen with me 😬
So, it's been a great opportunity to work on my weak spots over the last few days - core and upper body. Two great sessions under my belt so far. Stronger core and arms will surely help when I've got to haul myself around London.
Hope everyone's having a great day x
Better late then never, right?! 🤔💁🏻♀️ Nearly four months after completing it, the Windsor #trifectaweekend medal came in the post... just in time for #medalmonday. And what an absolute beauty it is! This was among the toughest challenges I completed last year... three races, 27 hard miles, countless obstacles and burpees. Not to mention the grim weather during the Saturday Beast, hey @_georgia.ldn@ianrunsldn? ☂️🙈

I’ve already said how gutted I was not to receive the medal at the finish line, so I won’t repeat myself here. But the disappointment sadly continued with some less-than-sporting responses in a Facebook group. I knew it would come eventually though, and I’m extremely proud of it! 🙏🏼❤️

I still haven’t decided what to do about @spartanraceuk this year, but this medal will definitely stand out among my collection for now, and who knows, may be repeated one day! 🏃🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Are you taking on a Spartan race this year? Or going in for the Trifecta and beyond?
