👌🏽I recently purchased some Felix Grays (see video) a few months ago and love em! The clear lens is awesome and although they wont block all of the blue light they still block some of it and are perfect for when I just need to see my screen without that yellow tint from F.lux ! I usually pop them on around 5-6pm and keep them on until I go to sleep. ✈️I also always take night flights so they come in handy when I’m at the airport as the airport is just filled with blue light everywhere 👎🏽and usually once I’m on the plane I like to pass right out!
👀If you’re looking for some blue light blockers but don’t feel like investing in the full on amber/red ones yet then these are a great option and they look stylish on absolutely everyone! 👓These are the non prescription Turing in Whiskey Tortoise :)

It’s not easy to crowd out the woes, the pain, the awkwardness of it all. It’s hard to mentally shift to a place of abundance, gratefulness, & awe of growing a little miracle in the midst of exhaustion & uncertainty. ✨
I know I complain too much —> because pregnancy really is hard!! I’m never going to deny that. 👟
But I can work on embracing it all! When I find myself complaining about the sore back, acid reflux or poor night sleep, I’ll remind myself of how lucky I am. I’ll welcome it, laugh about it & choose to embrace pregnancy for all it is!! 💪

on low carb days we load up on fats • while fwtfl encourages you to be dairy free • mama can’t swing that • I consume dairy • and use butter to pack in fats on these low carb days
🌿I may juice a lot but I love my smoothies and adding in “Clean” protein powders with this Pitaya smoothie depends on the day I switch it up ......For me what works is being consistent to reach optimal health🌿 Are you a juicer or a smoothie type ?

And are you scared of becoming “hangry” if you don’t eat as soon as hunger strikes??
Hunger is not an emergency. Hunger shouldn’t feel scary! THE ONLY THING THAT HUNGER TELLS YOU IS THAT IT’S TIME TO EAT AGAIN.
The *problem* is that so many of us are used to being on a diet and hunger somehow means we are failing.
The feeling of hunger when on a diet usually comes in between meals when it’s not “time” to eat again yet, and you can’t possibly imagine waiting another couple of hours to eat but you try to just drink water or chew gum and then finally you cave and eat your next meal early. But then you run out of food by 5pm? Can you relate?!
Hunger simply means that it’s time to eat again. And if you’re eating 3-4 meals a day and you feel hunger sooner than two hours or so after a meal, you’ll want to look at the meal prior and think about how you can adjust. Generally I’ll recommend that my clients add more protein and non-starchy veggies first, and if that doesn’t help maybe some additional fat or starch is necessary.
Again, HUNGER IS NOT AN EMERGENCY. In fact, waiting until you feel hunger *knowing* you have a plan in place for when you do become hungry is a really awesome practice in self-trust and learning how to navigate that feeling *without* hangry-ness.

**Brag Post!!** Its been 3 years and 3 months since my youngest was born. Since then it’s been difficult to lose weight given my factors of age, slower metabolism, lack of exercise, and lack of will power with food. For almost 2 years after her birth, I was 33 pounds over my normal weight!! Then in a moment of inspiration, I decided to track my food intake. I found that I needed someone I needed to be accountable to, so I used @dalimuluc as that person. She didn’t care if I ate healthy or not, but her presence in my daily life motivated me nonetheless.
This stack of jeans represents an entire wardrobe that doesn’t fit anymore. It took about a year and a half, but I lost those 33 pounds!! I went from a 30/32 waist size, to a 25 waist (that’s going from about a size 10/12 to a 0)!! I’m proud of myself! And I still have more to lose...or at least tone up a bit.🙂
It wasn’t easy. And I DIDN’T exercise!!! It’s all about what you eat and how much you eat. I’m glad that @dalimuluc was there to be a witness to my struggle and craziness. No cheat diets, no medications...just will power.
So now people don’t say “You look good for having 8 kids.” They just say “You look good!” And it’s not usually my style to write something like this, but I’m doing it! Because in my daily failures in life, this is something that makes me really proud of myself!!❤️❤️

So this happened today! 😁
I feel like crying I'm so happy. I seriously thought I was going to be a couch potato 🥔this whole pregnancy. I haven't been very positive at all because this pregnancy doesnt feel anything like my first. 🤰🏾 ⭐
With Kataleya, I had so much energy. I felt all day morning sickness but rarely actually puked.🤮 I worked out 5 days a week WHILE waitressing working doubles on some days 5 days a week.🏋🏾♀️I ate healthy and drank green smoothies and superfood shakes every day. I felt great. Happy. In control. ⭐
Well baby #2 has other plans. There have been many "Jesus take the wheel" 🙏🏽 days as I struggled with keeping food down. I only wanted carbs in the form of chocolate milk, cereal, fast food and publix subs. The sight & smell of salads 🥗or veggies🥦 made me nauseous. I have been taking 2 naps a day I am so tired. I wouldn't get off the couch unless it was to feed my daughter and even then I would stare at her and question if she really needed to eat. 😫😬🤦🏾♀️ Don't worry she was always fed. But the struggle was that real. ⭐
Everyday I felt defeated, discouraged, horrible and just sad that this time around didn't feel as good as the first, which made it very hard for me to connect with my growing baby.
Then one day, my bestie told me if I don't accept this pregnancy your body will continue to rebel against you. 😭 Once I really took that to heart, I could feel a difference. I still felt crappy everyday but I was way less miserable.
Now at 11 weeks, I feel my body coming around. I can eat salads again! I'm less tired and nauseous. I even had the energy to pull off 10 minutes of the new cardio program I am doing, before my heart rate went too high. This is the most I've done in weeks!
I'm use to working out and eating a certain away but I'm aware that being healthy for my baby is most important. So this time around my fit pregnancy journey will be different and I am happily accepting it. ⭐
Goal: Be the healthiest and happiest first home I can be for baby #2. 💜✌🏾

BUT I wasn’t going to let my excuses win!! The holidays are coming up and I refuse to gain weight which will just make it harder for me after... time to really start cleaning up my eating! I’ve been LAZY when it comes to my meal prep and that’s GOT to change!!! -
So I’m not waiting until next week. I’m going to sit down and figure out what I want to eat and stick to it! It’s all about making a plan and following through! -
So today’s workout was TABATA Power from Insanity Max 30. My Max out time was 10:43 😳😳😳 That’s the longest I’ve been able to go during the workouts and this is week 2 1/2! -

I wasn’t at my highest weight until 2015 however this was the start of my steady gaining process.
I may be super sore from pushing myself at CrossFit yesterday, but I would rather be sore then depressed, self conscious, unhappy, over weight girl on the left!
I’m asked often what motivates me and thats simple.. My Daughters! I want to set an example for them that anything is possible if you truly set your mind to something and follow through!

The warm-up is over, ladies! It's time to sweat!
This workout is packed with cardio. Take modifications if you need to! Have you incorporated exercise into your daily routine yet? I find that having a designated “workout” time set aside in my schedule is key! “Sorry Linda, but I won’t be able to make that 9:00 a.m. play date. I’m available at 10 though!” This workout includes 5 exercises. Perform each exercise for 40 seconds, then rest for 20
seconds. Complete 4 times rounds of the circuit for a 20 minute, total body workout!
1. Dolphin push-ups
2. Star jumps
Modification: This is a high-impact, high-intensity exercise. If this does not agree with
your body, modify using jumping jacks.
3. Plank with rotation + jack
Modification: You may eliminate the jack, or replace by stepping your feet in and out.
4. Soccer kicks + shoulder press

On the 10th day of Christmas @younglivingeocanada gave to me, cute little foxes for my family!🎄 Yesterday was a hard day here and I missed this so you get to see two today!
My kids were beyond excited to see these little fox diffuser snap bracelets in the drawer! They are so cute and so awesome to keep oils on your little ones! The oil choices yesterday by the kids were Orange, Frankincense (this kid loves the pricey oils) and Christmas Spirit! It smelt amazing in here! 😍

1 month postpartum vs 7 months postpartum! I’m finally back to where my body is comfortable being at. I have no more pains, have tons of energy, and am able to work out full force now. It was sure a long journey to get here. But like so many people say, “just stay patient”.
I remember taking the photo on the left and hardly recognizing myself. My eyes had bags under them because I was so sleep deprived! When I look back at this photo, I don’t remember carrying around the extra weight, I only remember being so ecstatic to wake up every day and see my baby.
Pregnancy is nothing to be afraid of. We naturally push through it and then look back at our photos wondering how we did it 💪.

A veces me da por experimentar con recetas saladas... Nunca había hecho nada con masa filo y la verdad es que me ha encantado. .
Rollitos de primavera saludables
Picamos en juliana una cebolla un trozo de repollo o col china, puerro y 2 zanahorias. Podéis usar las verduras que más os gusten.
Calentamos un wok añadimos un poco de aceite de oliva y hacemos las verduras, que queden un punto crujiente. .
Añadimos dos cucharadas de salsa de soja y brotes de soja. Ya está listo el relleno.
Recortamos en 2 mitades las hojas de masa filo, las colocamos en forma de rombo y añadimos 2 cucharadas de las verduras en la parte baja.
Levantamos la punta de abajo para cubrir el relleno, humedecemos con un pincel mojado en agua los laterales, los cerramos y vamos enrollando y humedeciendo en forma de sobre.
Horneamos hasta que estén dorados y crujientes. Dejamos enfriar unos minutos y servimos con un poco de salsa de soja.
First OFFICIAL Postpartum Treadmill Run was a success! Not much to say other than hit was a very busy day BUT still made the time to hop on the treadmill first thing this morning while some how keeping a baby and toddler entertained. Thankful I was able to run straight threw and booked it the last couple of miles.
To be honest, I forgot how tough the treadmill is and often found myself wanting to call it quits. After I got through a 5K, I quickly snapped out of it and just kept going. As you can see, the baby was ready to eat just as I finished....oh boy!
Running on the treadmill is definitely a challenge with two but I’m sure I will find the right time & routine to fit it in when need be.
