Should be starting marathon training this week and despite returning to club on Thursday, it’s looking like I’ll be sidelined for another few weeks 👎🏻
After a trip to the physio this evening, he said I’m having trouble with my tibialis anterior muscle (yeah I don’t know know either...) however it shouldn’t keep me out too much longer, a few weeks max 🤞🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Marathon training couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start and it’ll push me back a few weeks but such is life! Happy Monday ✌🏻

I’ve learned a lot over the last eight weeks:
•Running is a MENTAL game....I started my training so slow and struggled to run 3 miles without stopping.. I truly believe ANYONE can do this if they put their mind to it🙌🏼🏃🏽♀️ .
•Every time I finished a run, I was in a better place, mentally. Whether it was a 30 minute run or an hour and 30 min run... all that time running was ME time: reflecting on my days, my feelings, how my body felt, and how much more time I had to prepare for the race✍🏼🧠 .
•Food is fuel!!! & if you’re not fueling your body correctly before big runs/workouts... your performance will NEVER be at 100%🍌🍞🍳
•Some days I didn’t wanna get up to run at 5:30, but by 6:30 I never regretted rolling out of bed. So get up, keep yourself accountable to reach your goals, and get it done💪🏽 .
•This is not EASY. It’s HARD, and I’m PROUD🤷🏽♀️
•This will NOT be my last half marathon... and hopefully will lead me to eventually run a full☠️.

A novidade que não é tão nova assim, pois já é uma marca até que antiga, de vários anos no mercado, porém conhecida por poucos. .
Na verdade, muita gente já ouviu falar ou já viu, mas por ser um tênis bem diferente do que estamos acostumados a usar, poucas pessoas se aventuram. .
Ele realmente é diferente. E não é só no visual. Usá-lo da uma consciência do movimento, do toque no chão e as pernas cansam mais. É, cansa. Afinal, se ele induz a corrida com médio pé, o amortecimento que é feito por um tênis comum, começa ser substituído pela musculatura, e isso parece fazer com que os membros inferiores fiquem ativos o tempo todo. Não dá tempo de relaxar. Isso eu usava ao correr rápido. Agora, com ele, até lento. .
Digo isso em relação à esse modelo, que é um POP 3, o que se encaixa na categoria de avançado e pra quem já está adaptado à marca, o Gravity 5. Já usei também o Fate 2, que é da categoria amortecimento, tem o POP 2 e essa mudança é mais sútil. .
A quilometragem com eles ainda está baixa e essas são apenas as primeiras impressões . Logo mais farei um vídeo falando sobre ( dessa vez vai. Já fiz essa promessa com uns 4 ou 5 modelos 🙈 ) e aviso por aqui. .

OH heck yes!!!! HUGE celebration going down right now💃 🎉🙌. 1️⃣0️⃣ miles!!!✅ (Treadmilled and came out to cool off and take a pic!😜) Longest run since April 2017, and longest run on my new @garminfitness (I was so excited to see that screen show up - swipe to pic 2 - on my watch after my run! 😂🤓)
There is something so empowering about overcoming an obstacle. The past 6 months have been turbulent to say the least. I’m just so happy with my progress and continuing to take things a day at a time. I just ran 10 freaking miles completely PAIN FREE (if you ignore the pain from lifting yesterday and earlier this week 😜)!! Like what?! 😳 It feels sweeter than I imagined! 🌈🦋🦄😁 #runnershigh I’m starting to see the finish line in Disney and that it’s right within reach now. So pumped!
