Today’s backdrop is the deciduous conifer. Unlike its evergreen relatives, this tree sheds like a deciduous tree and this foster dog. .
Accessibility description: A tight shot of a black Labrador guide dog foster’s face. His brown eyes, in focus, match the brown deciduous conifer in the background.
I can’t even explain how proud I am of this little nugget. Today we concluded our in home training and she is now an official #guidedog 🎓From start to finish, she was a joy to train and will always hold a very special place in my heart 💜

Day 13, possibly my favourite photo of Jeanie. With some big storms coming soon it will be interesting to see how she copes... hopefully she keeps smiling like the second picture 😄🐶
One is silver and the other’s gold.
I reunited with an old friend today—the pup who started it all. It was such a pleasure to hang out with Jose again, meet some of his family and love on Boulder. I’m forever grateful for this guide dog team. Nothing fills my heart quite like puppy raising. 💛

Pictured: a man walking across an intersection on the East side of Manhattan with his black Labrador guide dog during some light snow flurries on a winter day. He is wearing a bright orange and yellow reflective jacket, jeans, and a black baseball cap. There is a car waiting at the light in the background with its headlights on.
Pepper and Julia do awesome today in St. Pete working by a tough dog distraction! All the impulse control is definitely paying off! (Video shows a black lab in harness working down a sidewalk. Up ahead is a fluffy, labradoodle looking dog sitting on the sidewalk. Another trainer with her yellow goldador work by the dog. Then it pans back tot he black lab who works by the dog on his right. Both dogs end at the door on their left.) #sdit#segd#dogdistraction#gooddogs#guidedog
