Today I procrastinated by reading a (long and not particularly interesting) article on procrastination. Also, I scoff in the face of Blue Monday - I had a great start to my week! How was yours? #bluemonday#japanairlines

It’s not every day you get to fly home in @cathaypacific first class — grateful to experience it for the first time (a few more to come) after an amazing 18 days in Asia to start off 2019.
First Class transatlantic flights sure are cozy, but this did not come easy. In fact, this trip was the first time I ever flew first class in my life. I’m what you call a late bloomer in business. I spent 10 years in the music business which delayed my entrepreneurial endeavors significantly. What I am trying to say here is, don’t think because you’re 30, 40, or even 50 years old, that you are too late to be wildly successful. That is complete bullshit and im living proof. It won’t be easy though. Question is: how bad do you really want it? Next step, private jet? Nah, but I do fly in them sometimes. I would like a single engine Cessna to commute to Utah, though. #goalslayer
There’s one thing I look forward to on JAL First more than anything. It’s not the incredible food, the warm crew or the hard product itself (all fantastic, don’t get me wrong). No, it’s the “Queen of Blue” Royal Blue tea 😍😆 Served chilled in a wine glass, this special tea is hand picked only once a year during summer, cold-brewed and filter sterilised to create the most delectable, smooth and clean tasting tea I have ever enjoyed. Genuinely get through at least two bottles per flight 🍷 #JALFirst#RoyalBlueTea
Finished off my trip to Europe with yet another excellent first class flight, this time with @etihadairways
I booked this flight using American Airlines AAdvantage Miles which can be easily bought online or earned via credit card points transfers. The total cost for me was $216 + points. Full flight review coming soon! Have you flown Etihad first class? Looking forward to reading your thoughts in the comments 👀
What’s your favourite first class seat? Although Emirates is fun with great service/food/beverage, it’s nowhere near the best. When in bed mode, the seat slopes down which isn’t ideal. My personal favourite is still Singapore Airlines first class (any aircraft) would you agree?

It's admittedly a little annoying that you can no longer dine with a companion in the new suites, unless you want to sit on a fold out stool kept in the bathroom. However, the amount of space you get to share as a couple, combining suites in Row 1 and 2 is nothing short of astounding. The finishes and overall ambiance are far superior to old suites too, in my opinion. I know a lot of miles and points advice is geared towards people in the US but for the two of us, based in the UK, this was done with two Amex Platinum sign up bonuses and two referrals, for a total of 50k Amex points each. Flying this product is not some far fetched fantasy, it is easily attainable. And that's something worth smiling about 😁

Who wants to join me in this seat? It's so wide I could have easily fit another person in with me 🤣. And this was also included in the $98 in taxes and 148,000 KrisFlyer miles from Zurich all the way to Sydney!! Due to a tight connection to Sydney we only had 10 minutes in the Private Room and the amazing lounge staff organised a private buggy to our gate which was on the opposite side of the terminal. Trying out First on a 777 for the first time and impressed by the small cabin of just four seats in 1-2-1 configuration and thankfully a daytime flight to enjoy the entire experience. It looks great with the brown leather and overhead mood lighting on boarding. @singaporeair#singaporeairlines#firstclass#avgeek#flysq#singaporeair
