⚠️ long post about my travels — I feel bad because it really was a goal of mine to do some vlogging while abroad ((But vlogging is hard, big props to you if you do it!)) I had a lot of people ask me what my favorite part was/advice so I’m gonna share that now ☺️
I can’t pin point my “favorite” part of traveling because there were just too many things. TRAVELING in itself, is my favorite. But one of my favorite parts was actually getting lost. In Japan, my traveling buddies and I ran out of DATA and at one point were completely lost and had to figure it out on our own. The language barrier + it almost hitting night time made it challenging. But I ended up loving it because it enables you to actually explore and take in the sights around you. You discover things you wouldn’t have if you followed the “right path”. It also made me feel like I was enjoying the moment more. It made it more journey like for me. .
My advice for traveling is ALWAYS CHECK IF YOUR DESTINATION REQUIRES A VISA ‼️‼️‼️ It becomes a HEADACHE waiting at the airport, scrambling to find a last minute visa. And sometimes that option isn’t even available. I’m all for being spontaneous but be sure to do a little research before you go to your destination! (Visas, cultural differences, how safe it is, currency exchange) Knowing little things like that will help you in the long run (trust me lol). .
Last piece of advice; be open minded. Try new things, new foods, even if they’re outside your comfort zone. And most importantly, be open minded to the people and their culture. The world is a very big place, and it’s important to remember that not everyone is like you or have the same culture as you. Be kind and respectful— you are a guest in THEIR home.
Be open minded to just, going abroad! If you have the opportunity to study abroad, do it. If you can take a trip somewhere and the funds are right, do it. I’m so grateful to have had these experiences at only 21 years old and I think everyone should experience that at least once in their life.
That’s all friends. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. 👋🏼 .
Today I did my first ever ICE BATH!
The pain it brings when you first get in is insane (think pins and needles & feet cramps) 😂
I lasted for 7 minutes which felt like forever! But I’m doing it everyday this week! I'm an athlete now right 💁🏼♀️ @phuketcleanse
It’s time for some changes! I haven’t been in NYC for last 8 months, more and more people from Poland are following me, and it’s time to work on my native language sooo I will be adding posts in both languages 🙊 what do you think about this? 😁
Günaydın! Hala gezi planı yapamayanlara ilham olması için geçenlerde sizden gelen gezi planlarınızı highlights kısmına sabitledik. Bu aralar kampanyalar oluyor, dikkatli takip edin. Biz @turkishairlines ‘dan kaptık bi bilet ✈️ #lokalturistitalya
