BUMPDATE at 15 weeks pregnant! ✨
I’m absolutely loving being pregnant and am so excited by my growing bump, which changes so much in size between morning and night. Also my belly button is already starting to stick out?! I’m feeling so good, fit and healthy! Still I’ve had zero cravings, just eating LOADS of food and making sure that most of the time it is nutrient dense to keep baby and I healthy and happy.
Although I’m a little more tired, I am finding that training is actually making me feel more energetic.
I still haven’t bought a single item for baby yet. We have decided to find out the gender of our bubba so I think Jake and I have just been waiting to find out whether we are having a little boy or a little girl 😍 We had planned to do a gender reveal party but I think we will now just share the special moment together 🎀💙 What do you think I’m having? 👶🏼 #15weekspregnant#fitpregnancy#healthypregnancy

I’ve been receiving lots of DM’s from other pregnant mamas-to-be asking how I’m modifying my workouts and scaling my weights. I wish I had a better answer for you but unfortunately there is not set rule. Every pregnancy is different, and everyone’s fitness journey before falling pregnant will be different too.
I’ll be honest, when it comes to choosing weights for a workout, it feels a little like I’m learning all over again because I’m so used to knowing what weight I’d use for what workouts. Also because I’m still feeling really strong and energetic. Please keep in mind that I have been training this way for 6 years so although my weights might still look heavy to some, these are all a much lower percentage for what I am used to.
My biggest piece of advice would just be to listen to your body. If it feels too heavy, too hard, or too uncomfortable, drop the weight, decrease the intensity or both. And of course always listen to the advice and guidance of your OB ✨
Today’s MEAL PREP is up on my instastories 🙌🏼 I’ve got:
- Banana Bread
- Savoury Muffins
- Savoury Mince Pasta
- Chicken Pesto Pasta
I love being able to share my recipes with you guys, hoping to inspire you to add some healthier, more nutritious meals and snacks into your lives. The big thing with most of my recipes is that not only are they HEALTHY and DELICIOUS, they are SIMPLE and do not require hundreds of ingredients or take hours to make. Like most of you, I live a busy life but I also value my health so it’s important to me that I can make it work realistically into my lifestyle.
Meal prepping isn’t something I do consistently, mostly if I know I have an extra busy week coming up. However without being able to turn to tuna as an quick, easy, portable staple in my diet, because 🤰🏼 plus with the added hustle of Christmas approaching, I know future Cass is going to be super grateful for today!
Check out the recipes on instastories and don’t forget to tag me if you make one! It seriously makes me so happy seeing you and your families enjoying them 😍✨ #14weekspregnant#fitpregnancy#healthypregnancy

I didn’t have any spinach left in the fridge this morning to make my usual Cass smoothie so I decided to get a little fancy with my micronutrients instead. Remember it’s just as important to think about our micronutrients as it is our macronutrients!
The base of my smoothie was still the same: coconut water, vanilla protein powder, banana, pineapple, avocado and in replacement of spinach I added the @nutraorganics Mermaid Latte mix - creating delicious blue smoothie magic, full of the perfect combination of carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats and a variety of incredible vitamins and minerals 🙌🏼🌈✨ Discount code: CASS

Yesterday I completed my first class at @theground_australia since announcing my pregnancy and seriously I felt absolutely AMAZING!! 😍
At 6 weeks I stopped training in classes and started training by myself or with Jake out of fear my Ground Family would start to pick up on it and I wasn’t ready to share my pregnancy with too many people just yet except family and close friends. It wasn’t because my mid section had changed, my abs have only really started to become a little smoother over this last week. It was more because I had started to modify exercises that I could normally easily do such as toes to bar or sit ups, and because I don’t have any injuries I felt that in a group setting it would be somewhat obvious or at least cause people to ask questions. Even in the few classes I did earlier on, I had a couple people ask if I was ‘having an off day’ because those who train around me know that when I train I’m always giving 100%. Honestly there is nothing better than the motivation and atmosphere of group training, and I am so happy to be back training alongside my beautiful Ground Fam #13weekspregnant#fitpregnancy#healthypregnancy

Here we are, just the two of us growing at 13 weeks pregnant! ✨
My first official BUMPDATE and pregnancy selfie!
My body is feeling mostly normal, almost as though I wasn’t pregnant. I feel so incredibly lucky not to have experienced any nausea or sickness at all. Plus I’ve had zero food cravings other than what I’d usually have. I’ve basically just been extra tired, and my boobs have grown at least a size or two which is a complete novelty for me because I’ve never really had them 😅
Since finding out I was pregnant I immediately turned down the intensity and volume of my training, as well as the weight of what I was lifting to about 75% of my max. My plan is to train for as long as I can by continuing to listen to my body and making modifications along the way (and under the guidance of my OB), but I’m not putting any pressure on myself as my goal is simply to keep baby and I healthy and happy #13weekspregnant#fitpregnancy#healthypregnancy

So many people ask me how to build lean muscle and become strong without becoming “bulky”. On top of a nutritious diet, Combination Training is the answer. It’s rare that I will just go for a run or just lift heavy weights, I usually combine some sort of strength training with speed or endurance cardio. Yesterday’s workout is the perfect example. Although it’s simple, it’s effective, and in my true #qualityoverquantity fashion.
Although my goals and training have changed a little lately (will explain more soon), I’m still loving the process.
Here is yesterday’s workout:
5 rounds of: every 5 minutes = 400m run + 5 weighted strict pull ups.
Note - These pull ups can be scaled to the level of pull up progress that you’re at, as long as it is challenging for you!

Home back with my little family 💛
The last few months have been both absolutely crazy and the best! Jetsetting to Byron, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tasmania and Sydney, for both work and play. Which also means coming back to a double workload for both of my businesses. Plus it’s been the season for birthdays, anniversaries, and other exciting events. As much as I’d love a little boring in my life right now, there is no time for that 🙆🏼♀️
I have so many things to update you on! Big life updates 💗 Plus I’ve been a very busy bee working hard on some exciting secret projects 🙊🙌🏼✨ #staytuned

Thank you girls for the most fabulous weekend!
BIG LOVE 💛 @jmp_88@jaydew9@em_tumbers#rnbfridayslive#letitburn🔥
EDIT: Obvs this drink isn’t mine. The lines were so long for drinks that the girls were getting four at a time. Luckily my sober hands were there to help carry them all.

I love that social media has the ability to connect us with people we otherwise may not of had the chance to ever connect with. For me, this girl is one of them! We met a few years ago at a social media event and since then have worked together, travelled together and @tanyapoppett and I have become beautiful friends.
In saying that I’m also aware of the negative aspects of social media. My girl @katiewilllly explains it brilliantly: “If you are on social media and you are not learning, not laughing, not being inspired or not networking, then you are using it wrong.”
I myself love to take a social media detox several times a year to remind myself of where and why I put my energy into this platform, and ensure I’m using it for one of the reasons above.
Don’t worry, this isn’t one of those times. There’s way too many exciting things happening at the moment!
So good to see you girl! Catch up again soon! 💃🏼 Wearing the @adidasau Statement Collection from @theiconicau@theiconicsport#heretocreate

Am I allowed to say I love this shot?! 😍 It’s so rare that I would say this about a photo of myself because like most people, I pick out and notice all the things I don’t like first. I’m sure this is an insecurity society has taught us. Well I’m going to take it!
Thank you again for this amazing opportunity @theiconicau@theiconicsport! Wearing the @adidasau Statement Collection #heretocreate
